CONTRACTORS AND CONSOLTANTS (CORE, ENVIRONMENTAL, DESIGN & SUPERVISION)
Pakistan Housing Authority (PHA) invites applications for pre-qualification of Consultants for providing Core. Environment. Designing. Planning and Construction Supervision Consultancy services and Civil Contractors of repute with experience of quality construction registered with major organizations and departments, for construction of Prime Minister Housing Scheme for Federal Government Employees at Kurri Road. Zone IV. Islamabad in approx 90 acres of land consisting of Houses of Category-I. II & III (G+1st Floor) and other housing projects including multi-storeyed flats and infrastructure.
Pre-qualification is open to renowned Consultants who are registered with PCATP and constructors/ joint ventures of constructors who are registered with PEC in Category (CB) with field of specialization CE 01.02.09.10. ME 01.02.03 and EE 04.06.
Appropriate category PEC registered constructors may obtain the prequalification documents from the office of the Employer, at Pakistan Housing Authority. Ministry of Housing & Works, Government of Pakistan, Shaheed-e-Millat Secretariat. Jinnah Avenue. Islamabad or may request to send the same through mail at the specified address. The request must clearly state “Request for Pre-qualification Documents” for Government of Pakistan with the name of the project. The documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1.000/- in form of bank/ pay order in favour of Pakistan Housing Authority.
The documents if requested by mail will be dispatched by registered mail for which cost of mail will borne by the Applicant, however, under no circumstances the Employer will be responsible for late delivery or loss of the documents so mailed.
A minimum requirement tor pre-qualification will be to have successfully completed similar nature of projects during last five years and turnover of Rs. 1.5 billion for the last two (2) years as prescribed in the Instructions to Applicants, in terms of projects/contracts.
Applications for pre-qualification must be delivered in sealed envelopes by hand or through registered mail, to the address mentioned below.
The applications be received not later than November 22,2011 and be clearly marked “Application for Pre-qualification”. Authority reserves the right to reject all the bids at any time. However, the Authority will communicate the grounds for rejection of all bids on request of bidders, but is not required to justify those grounds.
